Our Heroes

Name: Fiona Angelica Shiloh
Aka: Fi
Attunement: Fire

Fi is an auto-mechanic with a degree in philosophy. She's somewhat wild and has a penchant for saying whatever comes into her brain without filtering it for good taste, appropriateness or even Blasphemy. She likes singing songs... any songs... with her own special lyrics. Usually these lyrics have profane implications. She takes men for granted because they've always been easy for her. Her best friend is Blue who she loves without question.

Name: Edward Jonathan Dickson
Aka: Head, Headward (though both of these only by Bobby Jake)
Attunement: None

Edward is your typical Ozark farmer raising chickens and cows. Fortunately very little of this story takes place there. Edward spends most of his free time hanging out with Blue or harassing Fi. At least, until someone comes along to distract him from Fi.

Name: Elizabeth Lynn Hope
Aka: Liz, Lizzie (don't call me that anymore), Lizzie-Lynn (PLEASE don't call me that!)
Attunement: Earth

Liz is an IT professional in Ashley's father's company. She has a scar on the inside of her left wrist. Her fondest dream is to make it out of this backwoods hick town, but she's never made it farther from home than Collegeville, one county over.

Name: Aqua Blue Thompson
Aka: Blue, My Aqua Blue (by Fi), Baby Blue (by her dad)
Attunement: Water

Though attractive, with her naturally blue hair and friendly and kind personality, Blue's never had a boyfriend and that doesn't bother her one bit. Her life is full with her work (she runs her father's restaurant) and her friends, especially Fi. Blue protect Fi from herself and smoothes out relationships damaged by Fi's lack of tact.

Name: Ashley Anne Gutensohn
Aka: Ash
Attunement: Air

Ash is the smart one. But she's also shy, reclusive, tall, gangly and not... traditionally beautiful. She's invisible to men and couldn't talk to them even if she wasn't. She would be a deeply lonely woman if it weren't for her friends, especially her best friend, Liz. Ashley is an accountant, but her real passion is languages. This passion lead her to discover the Th'thla language as a child, and learn its magic as an adult.
